In the summer, they need indirect sunlight both morning and afternoon. A south window away from direct sun is perfect.

In the winter, they need as much sun as you can give them. Healthy leaves will be light to medium green in colour. If the light conditions are too high, the margins of the leaves will be reddish or purple. If light conditions are too low, the leaves will be a dark grass-green colour.

Do not allow the pot to sit in water. Also important are good air circulation and adequate humidity.

Mist your orchids in the morning, and grow them on pebble trays.

Fertilize weakly weekly with Schultz Orchid Food (19-31-17) according to package directions.
